How To Install Roctex Textured Wall Panels

Adding a feature that makes DIY installation easier, Roctex Textured Wall Panels are designed to be installed non-mechanically using glue. This eliminates the need for complex tools and equipment, simplifying the process of wall panels installation for homeowners looking to enhance their space with a unique textured finish.

Installing the panels involves several steps for achieving stunning results with these exquisite 3D wall panels. There are following steps for a typical interior installation:

1. Measure the Installation Area:
- Accurately measure the wall and calculate the number of panels needed for each section.

2. Mark the Baseline:
- Employ a laser level to mark a straight baseline, providing a precise guide for installing 3D wall panels. Utilise a support board on the floor, incorporating spacers to ensure a level surface.

3. Start Installation:
- Initiate the installation process from left to right, ensuring the captivating design of these 3D wall panels follows a seamless and continuous pattern. Check for necessary cuts before applying the recommended epoxy glue.

4. Glue Application:
- Apply the specified epoxy glue for a secure, non-mechanical installation of Roctex 3D wall panels. Allow the glue to set on the bottom row before progressing to the upper rows.

Substrates for Roctex Textured 3D Wall Panels:

- The recommended substrate for optimal results is 12mm MDF for internal installations.
- Alternative substrates may include the Standard Gyprock wall, cement render, block wall, plywood (knot-free), FC Sheet, and Studs. Ensure surfaces are smooth and defect-free to enhance the effect of these 3D panels.

Glue for 3D wall panels:

- The recommended adhesive for the installation of these 3D wall panels is Megapoxy PM.
- The curing time for Megapoxy PM is 45 minutes, allowing ample time for precise positioning of the panels in various temperatures. Other industrial epoxies suitable for internal use may also be considered.

Cutting 3D Wall Panels:

- Utilise a panel saw with a sharp tungsten blade for accurate and clean cuts.
- Cut the panels upside down to avoid chipping and potential damage to the corners of these exquisite 3D wall panels.

Joining 3D Wall Panels:

- Explore the aesthetic possibilities by considering expressed joints. Options such as flat bar on edge, recessed shadow space, c-channel with or without timer space infill, maintaining small gap can enhance the visual appeal of these 3D wall panels.
- Use grout or "No More Gaps" with color mixed to match the panel colors for jointing. Tinted filler for touch-ups should seamlessly match the topcoat paint.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

- After the successful installation of these captivating 3D wall panels, ensure any loose dirt is delicately removed from the surface using a soft brush or vacuum.
- For marks or stains, gently wipe with a lint-free wet cloth rinsed in warm water with a mild detergent. A final wipe with a clean, dry, soft cloth will maintain the pristine appearance of these 3D wall panels.
- Avoid using solvent-based cleaners, aggressive detergents, or abrasive powders, as they may compromise the surface.

Handmade Roctex Textured Wall Panels are a custom product. Variations and slight imperfections are part of the inherent nature of the product and may occur slightly in thickness and/or size. Large panels have some degrees of flexibility. Where walls are not plumb packing may be necessary.
